Directions to Ballela
 

 
From Newcastle / Castlewellan
  • Take the A50 until you reach McCoy's garage (junction of the A50 and B25).
  • Follow the B25 (signed for Dromore) for 1.1 miles (Castlevennon Road).
  • Turn right onto the Knockgorm Road (signed B25 Dromore), follow road for 1.8 miles.
  • Turn right onto the Ballela Road.
  • Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.

From Newry

  • Take the A1 North, past Banbridge.
  • Take the first right turn at the Tullyraine quarry onto the Waringsford Road.
  • Stay on this road for four miles (it becomes the Knockgorm Road).
  • After passing the Balloley Warehouse, take the first Left (signed for Ballela).
  • Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.

From Belfast

  • Take the M1 South.
  • Leave the Motorway at the Sprucefield exit and take the A1 South (Marked for Newry and Dublin).
  • Travel past Hillsborough and Dromore, take the B25 (a left turn, signed for Katebridge).
  • Follow the road for just over one mile until you reach a cross roads (Garvaghy Post office is on the left).
  • Turn left onto the Knockgorm Road, and drive for one mile.
  • Turn left onto the Ballela Road.
  • Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.

From Banbridge

  • Travel down Dromore road until you reach the A1 dual carriageway
  • Turn left onto the A1 for Belfast, move to the right hand lane as soon as possible.
  • Take the first right turn at the Tullyraine quarry onto the Waringsford Road.
  • Stay on this road for four miles (it becomes the Knockgorm Road).
  • After passing the Balloley Warehouse, take the first Left (signed for Ballela)
  • Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.
