From Newcastle /
Castlewellan
- Take the A50 until you reach McCoy's garage (junction of the A50 and
B25).
- Follow the B25 (signed for Dromore) for 1.1 miles (Castlevennon Road).
- Turn right onto the Knockgorm Road (signed B25 Dromore), follow road
for 1.8 miles.
- Turn right onto the Ballela Road.
- Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.
From Newry
- Take the A1 North, past Banbridge.
- Take the first right turn at the Tullyraine quarry onto the Waringsford
Road.
- Stay on this road for four miles (it becomes the Knockgorm Road).
- After passing the Balloley Warehouse, take the first Left (signed for
Ballela).
- Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.
From Belfast
- Take the M1 South.
- Leave the Motorway at the Sprucefield exit and take the A1 South
(Marked for Newry and Dublin).
- Travel past Hillsborough and Dromore, take the B25 (a left turn, signed for Katebridge).
- Follow the road for just over one mile until you reach a cross roads (Garvaghy
Post office is on the left).
- Turn left onto the Knockgorm Road, and drive for one mile.
- Turn left onto the Ballela Road.
- Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.
From Banbridge
- Travel down Dromore road until you reach the A1 dual carriageway
- Turn left onto the A1 for Belfast, move to the right hand lane as
soon as possible.
- Take the first right turn at the Tullyraine quarry onto the Waringsford
Road.
- Stay on this road for four miles (it becomes the Knockgorm Road).
- After passing the Balloley Warehouse, take the first Left (signed for
Ballela)
- Follow the road for 1.5 miles, the Ballela pitch is on the left.
